W21W (7440 / T20) LED brake light bulb — red (red chip, qty 1)

Replace a dim, slow-starting halogen bulb with crisp LED light: the W21W (7440 / T20) LED brake light bulb directly replaces the car's original halogen bulb in the same holder (for brake and tail lights) — remove the old bulb, fit the LED, and you are done. It produces bright red light, the legally required red colour for brake and tail lights, and is 3–4× brighter than a conventional bulb. Fits any car with a W21W brake/tail light bulb base.

How it works
Brake and tail lights shine through the car's red lens. This bulb has a red chip, so 100 % of the light produced passes through the lens — the light is bright red and no energy is wasted, unlike with a white LED, which dims and turns pinkish behind the lens.

Installation (Plug & Play)
1. Remove the car's original halogen bulb.
2. Fit the W21W LED into the same socket and connector.
3. Secure it in place — done, usually in a few minutes.
CANBUS / hyperflash: standard version — works straight away in most cars. If the car shows a warning light ("bulb failure"), add a 25 W resistor pair or an LED flasher relay (available separately, search "LED Bulb Resistors").
